Ai suoi esordi il nome di questo arbalete era Gabbiano TRB, poi è rimasto solo GABBIANO, il fucile infatti è dotato della famosa testata TRB (Testina Rapida Basculante) chiusa o aperta. La testata TRB permette di cambiare il porta gomme (e le gomme stesse) anche in acqua durante una normale battuta di pesca, non si necessita infatti di nessun attrezzo, non si deve svitare o smontare nulla, si sfila il porta gomme e  semplicemente se ne inserisce un altro con l’opportunità di cambiare configurazione dell’arma e passare dalla due alle quattro gomme se si volesse usare Katyuscha.

A differenza del suo predecessore TRB, il Gabbiano si sviluppa sul fusto ad osso di seppia, lo stesso fusto dello Snake, in questo fucile si fondono i vantaggi di entrambe le armi. Alla precisione ed alla versatilità della testata TRB si aggiunge il bilanciamento e la facilità del brandeggio tipiche del fusto ad osso di seppia, il risultato è un sorprendente arbalete preciso come un fucile da tiro, agile e potente come un moderno arbalete da pesca.

Il Gabbiano è offerto nella versione Silver che monta l’impugnatura VG09 Silver, elastici da 16 mm Black Power (45shore)  progressivi , asta tahitiana da 6mm, archetto smoby con braccetti legati. Un fucile mono elastico con una ottima spinta molto maneggevole e controllabile.

Al principio el nombre de este arpon era GABBIANO TRB, luego solo quedaba GABBIANO, de hecho el arbalet está equipado con la famosa cabeza TRB (Testina Rapida Basculante) cerrada o abierta. El cabezal TRB te permite cambiar el porta-gomas (y las propias gomas) incluso en el agua durante una imersion de pesca normal, no necesitas herramientas, no tienes que desenroscar ni desmontar nada, quitas el porta-gomas y simplemente inserta otro con la posibilidad de cambiar la configuración del arma y cambiar de dos a cuatro gomas si quieres usar KATYUSHA.
A diferencia de su antecesor, el TRB, el GABBIANO, se desarrolla sobre el hueso de sepia, el mismo cañón que el SNAKE, en esto arpon se fusionan las ventajas de ambas armas. A la precisión y versatilidad de la cabeza del TRB se suma el equilibrio y la facilidad de swing típicos del blank de sepia, el resultado es un fusil sorprendente tan preciso como una arbalete de tiro, ágil y potente como un arbalete de pesca moderno.

El GABBIANO se ofrece en la versión SILVER que monta el mango Silver VG09, bandas progresivas black power (45shore) de 16 mm, eje Tahitiano de 6 mm. Enganche SMOBY con brazos entrelazados. Un arpon monoelástico con excelente empuje, muy manejable y controlable.
